Lauren Stephenson


Lauren Stephenson is the co-owner and artistic director of DanceVibe. Miss Lauren is a respected dance teacher and choreographer, certified in elementary education. She has always displayed a passion for dance and the arts, and her training and technical expertise is brought to life in each class she teaches.

Miss Lauren started her formal dance training at 4 years old. Just one year of dance and she was hooked. By middle school, Miss Lauren was dancing 4-5 days a week and attending the competition circuit, receiving numerous awards and titles. During college, Miss Lauren was a member and choreographer of the University of Pittsburgh’s Dance Ensemble & Dance Production. She received formal training and credit in ballet, jazz, modern, and tap. Miss Lauren graduated with a Bachelor of Elementary Education degree from Penn State and was a teacher in the West Shore School District.

Since 1996, Miss Lauren has instructed dance classes across Central Pennsylvania. Before opening DanceVibe, she instructed the national champion dance team, Tyme 2 Danz and was awarded “Coach of the Year”. Miss Lauren continues to better her dance education by attending renowned dance conventions such as JUMP, NYCDA, NUVO, The Pulse, Radix, and The Dance Teacher Summit each year. She is also a certified Mat and Ball Pilates instructor.

Miss Lauren strives to be the best role model and dance educator for her students. “Watching my students grow from little kids to mature, respectful young adults is the most rewarding experience. I strongly believe there is much more to dance than the steps. Dance lessons are life lessons. My students learn to strive for excellence in all they do. And the moment when my students return to me and articulate how dance has helped change their life…it’s truly beautiful.”

In addition to her DanceVibe family, Miss Lauren loves being a wife and mom to her 2 daughters and son.

Allyson Yost


Allyson Yost is the co-owner and artistic director of DanceVibe. She was born and raised in Mechanicsburg, PA and has been immersed in the world of dance since the age of three. It was always a dream of Miss Ally’s to one day own a dance studio and pass her love of the art form on to others. Now, she is living her dream. “I feel blessed to be able to help my students achieve their dreams. Working with them and seeing the impact dance makes on their lives brings me such happiness. I love seeing each dancer progress, and I am inspired everyday by all of my students. They push me to be a better teacher, studio owner and person, and for that, I am grateful.”

Miss Ally has over 30 years of dance experience and has trained extensively in a variety of dance styles. She has been instructing dance for almost two decades and choreographing professionally for almost as long. She holds her BFA in Dance from Temple University with concentrations in modern, jazz, performance & choreography. She had studied under the prestigious faculty at Temple University, was awarded scholarship to Rennie Harris’s Illadelph Legends studying under many of the hip hop greats & continues to further her educations by learning from the hottest choreographers & educators at various workshops & conventions. In addition to her extensive dance training, Miss Ally is passionate about honing her choreographic talents. She is DanceVibe’s lead company choreographer, has choreographed for various dance teams on both the high school & college level and is proud to have created work for both the concert & competition stages. Her choreography has won numerous high scores and awards both regionally and nationally, and year after year her choreography is recognized for its innovation & beautiful pictures.

Growing up, Miss Ally was a competition kid competing both regionally & nationally. She attended Cumberland Valley High School where she is honored to be on the school’s Wall of Fame. She was also the choreographer and competition coach for the CVHS dance team from 2000-2010 & Tyme 2 Danz All-Stars from 2000-2005 where she led both teams to numerous National and Grand Champion titles.

In addition to her dance degree, Allyson received her Certification in Art Education from Millersville University. On top of running the studio, Miss Ally enjoys spending time with her husband and beautiful daughter. She is excited to soon have a new addition to her family, a baby boy.

Angela Choate DanceVibe

Angela Choate


Angela Choate, a native of Pottsville, PA, began dancing at the age of three. She graduated from Elizabethtown College with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education and a masters from Wilkes University in Early Childhood Literacy. At Elizabethtown College, she took numerous courses in both ballet and jazz through the Department of Fine & Performing Arts, and she was an active member of Emotion Dance Club where she was a tap choreographer. Currently, Miss Angela is a teacher in the Cumberland Valley School District. She is very excited to be doing the two things she loves most- teaching & dancing!

Jennifer DeNapoli


A native of Dunmore, Pennsylvania, Jennifer began her dance education at the age of three with Linn McDonald in Scranton. Her dance training has spanned across more than thirty-five years and includes studies in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, hip hop & musical theater. Jennifer has achieved membership into Dance Educators of America and has studied with many notable professionals including David Howard, Frank Hatchett, Roni Mahler, Joe Tremaine & Laurie Johnson. Her additional training includes classes at Steps of Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, Central California Ballet & Virginia Ballet Theater. In addition to over 18 years of experience instructing dance and choreographing, Jennifer has a strong performance background that ranges from soloist roles in full length ballets to being a company member of Without Walls, a regional contemporary dance company.

What Jennifer loves most about teaching at DV is the energy & passion radiated by both the students & faculty. “It creates a positive, creative & nurturing environment. I feel privileged to be a part of such an amazing dance program.” When not dancing or teaching, Jennifer resides in Carlisle and works as an investment professional.

Makayla Garrett


Makayla Garrett has been dancing for 17 years and is currently working toward her B.A. in Dance at Messiah College. She is primarily trained in classical ballet and modern. Growing up, she studied at the Company of Dance Arts in New Jersey. Her performance credits include The Nutcracker as Snowflake Corps, Marzipan Corps, Flower Corps and Lead Chinese, Cinderella as Ballroom Corps, Sleeping Beauty as Aurora’s Friend and the Wizard of Oz as Glinda. Makayla has been a successful candidate of the Royal Academy of Dance examinations, receiving distinctions of both exams taken. While studying in college, Makayla has performed in numerous works including both solo and group pieces choreographed by Gregg Hurley & Danielle Smith Guillermo.

While she is from New York, Makayla loves returning to Pennsylvania each Fall to attend college & teach at DanceVibe. She loves the opportunity she gets to work with immensely motivated DV students and inspire them to keep reaching their goals.

Sara Gelbaugh


Born in Buffalo, New York, Sara Gelbaugh began her ballet studies at the Feder School of Classical Ballet. She spent several early summers at the National Ballet School in Toronto, as well as the Jean Spear School of Ballet in Watertown, NY. Sara then moved on her own at 16 to Carlisle PA to study under Marcia Dale Weary at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (CPYB). Her performance credits there include: Nutcracker, Raymonda, Coppelia, Les Sylphide and Concerto Barroco and many other original works. Sara has also performed professionally with Lake Erie Ballet Co, The Thousand Islands Festival Ballet, and The Buffalo Ballet Theater. Ms. Sara holds credentials from the ISTD (International Society of Teachers of Dance) as she has successfully completed examinations for levels 1 through 4 and Elementary of the Cecchetti Syllabus.

Ms. Sara’s expertise in ballet has made her a well sought-after dance instructor. For over 20 years, she served as an faculty member at CPYB. In addition, she has previously been on Faculty of the School of Cincinnati Ballet and the Tanze Performing Arts Center in Ohio. Ms. Sara has also been a guest teacher teaching master classes for many different studios and summer programs over the years.

In addition to teaching, Sara has developed her own curriculum for preschool dance instruction called Kidzdance, and has worked both under that name and for CPYB in dance outreach and education for many years in the Central Pennsylvania area.

Ms. Sara now resides in Carlisle with her husband, two teenagers and her golden retriever.

Aubrea Richards


Aubree Richards has over 21 years dance experience in a variety of dance styles. She has traveled the East Coast taking classes from world renowned choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Tabitha and Napoleon D’umo, Tyce Diorio, Brian Friedman, Laurieann Gibson and Dave Scott. She has also attended classes at Broadway Dance Center. Growing up, Miss Aubree trained at DanceVibe and competed on several competition teams including DanceVibe’s Pre Pro Company, Tyme 2 Danz All-Stars & the CVHS Dance Team. As a member of the Cumberland Valley High School Dance Team, she was privileged to hold the title of captain for there years and led the team to several national victories. Upon graduating, Aubree took over as choreographer for the Cumberland Valley Dance team for 4 years where her choreography won both national and regional recognition. In college, Miss Aubree was a member of Mansfield University’s cheer leading squad as well as the Pennsylvania School of Technology Dance Team where she was captain. She is honored to have the opportunity to be back at DanceVibe inspiring young dancers to pursue their passion for dance, have fun, gain confidence and make life-long friends.

Kim Rittle


Kim Rittle started her dance training at the age of 5 studying at several different studios, including DanceVibe and competing as a member of Cumberland Valley High School’s National Champion Dance Team under the direction of Allyson Yost. Kim attended East Stroudsburg University, pursuing a degree in Sociology with a minor in Dance. At ESU, Kim took accredited dance courses in ballet, modern and creative dance for children. She was an active member of ESU’s University Dance Company as a performer, student choreographer and student director of the company’s Children’s Dance Program. As student director of ESU’s Children’s Dance Program, Kim taught ballet, modern and hip hop classes to children ages 3-13. After taking a few years off, Kim is excited to be sharing her love of dance again with the students at DanceVibe. Aside from dance, Kim loves to keep busy working and spending time with her family, especially her niece and nephew.

Emma Solcum DanceVibe

Emma Solcum


Emma Slocum began her dance training at the age of four attending Pittsburgh Ballet Theater School. After her family moved to South Carolina, she studied at Hilton Head Dance School under former ABT principle dancer Karena Brock-Carlyle. Her serious dance training began when she moved back to Pittsburgh and started studying at Bodiography Center for Movement. She danced at Bodiography for 9 years. In high school, she was accepted into Bodiography’s College Preparatory Program, danced with Bodiography’s Student Company, and had the chance to perform artistic director Maria Caruso’s choreography alongside Bodiography Contemporary Ballet Company. Emma is currently studying both Dance and Early Childhood Education at Messiah College. There, she has had the opportunity to perform both student and faculty works, and has taken a master class with members of Ballet Magnificat. She is thrilled to be a part of the DanceVibe family and teach its enthusiastic and talented students. She loves the joy that kids have for dancing and working with them is one of her passions. 

Jenn Woodworth


Jenn Woodworth has been studying dance for over 24 years. With extensive training in various forms of dance, Jenn has been fortunate enough to dance professionally across the continent. From performing with the hit rock band Lifehouse in Hawaii, to entertaining guests in a luxury hotel in Mexico, Jenn has always had a passion for dance. In Utah, Jenn was selected as an All State Dancer recognizing her as one of the top 20 dancers in the state. She was privileged to receive extensive training from renowned dancer/choreographer Bonnie Story. Jenn also danced with the Utah Valley University Dance Team and was captain her final year. As an NFL cheerleader, Jenn performed at all home games as well as numerous charity & promotional events. She was a Junior Denver Bronco Cheerleader instructor where she taught and mentored young future cheerleaders. Jenn was awarded Rookie of the Year, selected as a Pro Bowl representative and served as captain. Her most proud accomplishment was “Cheer for the Troops”, a Christmas charity she founded & organized. The charity is still going strong, providing care package to men & women serving our country. Jenn has taught a various studios & workshops throughout Utah, Colorado & Pennsylvania. Her work has won awards on both state & national levels. Outside of dance, Jenn enjoys spending time with her husband and three beautiful children.

Lisa Saffron

Studio Manager

At DanceVibe, Lisa makes magic happen behind the scenes in addition to answering any questions you may have at the front desk. As a part of the DanceVibe family, she enjoys seeing all of the smiling faces that come through the studio door and watching all of our beautiful dancers learn and grow. In addition to being Studio Manager at DanceVibe, Lisa works at CPAG both on the mat & behind the scenes. She is a respected gymnastics instructor, teaching preschool & school-aged children for the past 14 years. Lisa & her husband, Joe, have three beautiful daughters, Emily, Carina and Julianne. Carina is a recent DanceVibe graduate & Julianne is a current Pre Pro dancer. Miss Lisa has been a member of the DanceVibe family for years and knows all of the ins & outs of the dance world.
